Privacy & DPDP
What we collect, what we don’t, and how we keep it safe.
Audio & transcript
We record your microphone audio for the duration of each answer to transcribe it and score content + fluency. Audio is processed on a per-question basis and is deleted after processing unless your college has explicitly opted in to retention (e.g. for accreditation evidence).
Video
Raw video is never uploaded. Posture, eye-contact, fidget, and face-visibility scores are computed locally in your browser; only the aggregated numeric metrics leave your device.
Reports
Your PDF report contains your name, college, branch, and per-question feedback. It is downloadable only by you, your placement officers, and college super-admins. Other students cannot see your report.
Analytics & support
Product analytics and support chat are optional. We do not start PostHog or Intercom tracking until you allow it in the consent prompt. If you allow it, signed-in usage may be associated with your account, role, and college so we can improve reliability, understand feature adoption, and support you.
Your rights under DPDP
You can request export, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by writing to your college’s placement office or contact@praveshika.ai.
